Mr. Howard Li Speaks at "Tsinghua Forum for Ovearseas Chinese Business Leaders"

On the invitation of the Overseas Chinese Affairs Office of the State Council, Howard H. Li, Chairman & CEO of Waitex Group, delivered a speech at the ‘Tsinghua Forum of Overseas Chinese Business Leaders’ in the Tsinghua main building on May 23, 2013. In the 90 minute speech, Howard Li talked about the new operational model of global supply chain. He also talked about his experience in making Waitex grow from a small office into a global group of companies in 30 years. Howard Li answered questions from the students, and encouraged the students’ diligent thinking and courage to practice. Many media sources have reported on Howard Li’s speech.

In attendance of the forum were Ren Qiliang, deputy minister of Overseas Chinese Affairs Office of the State Council, leaders from the Science and Technology Division of Overseas Chinese Affairs Office of the State Council, Tsinghua University, and hundreds of students. Cheng Jianping, executive vice president of Tsinghua University, also met with Howard Li.
